Somali President, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, accompanied by First Lady Zeinab Abdi Moalim, has returned to Somalia after a working visit to Istanbul to attend the 3rd Turkey-Africa Cooperation Conference.
During his stay in Istanbul, President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to discuss strengthening of bilateral relations and cooperation in the fields of security, economy, trade and politics.
The Somali President held talks with the President of the Republic of Rwanda, Paul Kagame and the Chairman of the Presidential council of Libya, Mohamed Yunis Al-Menfi.
President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo also met with various sections of the Somali community living in Turkey and Somali doctors who are specialized in medicine and working in Turkey.
