Danab Elite Special
The US-trained Danab elite Special Forces have yesterday carried out a planned tactical operation in Mayondo Dheey, Abdi Maroodi, Kubow and Dheey Oobo all under Lower Juba region.
The operation was to aimed at destroying Al-Shabaab hideouts and bases in those areas after security reports of civilian harrassment.
The elite Danab commandos have been carrying out similar security operations in parts of Jubbaland state aimed at destabilizing the Somali-based Al Shabaab terror group.
