The Galmudug administration’s coast guard has conducted a sea operation and captured a fishing vessel that was fishing illegally in the coastal area of Hobyo district in Mudug region.
The ship was seized by the Galmudug Coast Guard and was flying the Chinese flag, according to Galmudug naval officials.
Hobyo Coast Guard Commander, Abdirahman Ali Dbiblawe said the vessel was carrying 17 fishermen from China, Indonesia and India.
