The Jubbaland Minister for Relief and Disaster Management, Abdirahman Abdi Ahmed has on Saturday appointed a Disaster Preparedness and Response Committee.
The 11-member committee has been appointed to lay the groundwork for responding to and preparing for all possible disasters in the country, particularly in Jubbaland.
Jubbaland Minister for Relief and Disaster Management, Abdirahman Abdi Ahmed, who issued the committee’s appointment decree, said it was important to prepare for disasters that could cause harm to civilians in the Jubbaland state of Somalia.
