The Jubbaland Ministry of Justice and Religious Affairs has today convened its monthly justice stakeholders meeting of the Jubbaland State.
The meeting which was held at Agan Hotel in Kismayo was aimed at discussing the strengthening of the judicial system as well as how to speed up justice services.
The meeting was attended by Jubbaland Civil Society Organizations, UNDP and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
Professor Abdullahi Sheikh Shafi’i of the Junza organization has called on the judicial services in Jubbaland state to underscore the critical importance of effective a d efficient judicial service delivery.
Jubbaland traditional elders’ spokesman Ugas Omar Hirey on his part, said it was important to work together on judicial services since its plays an integral part of the community.
The meeting was attended by Jubbaland Minister for Justice and Religious Affairs, Mohamed Omar Yusuf.
