Somalia’s South West state President arrives in Abuja, Nigeria to strengthen ties

The President of the South West regional State of Somalia Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Lafta-Gareen and his delegation have arrived in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria last night.

President Lafta-Gareen, who is accompanied by ministers from his administration, was welcomed in Abuja by the Ambassador of the Federal Government of Somalia to Nigeria.

Lafta-Gareen is at the invitation of the Governor of Kaduna State, where he will meet with the Governor and other officials of the country.

The President of South West will hold talks with the Governor of Kaduna State on issues of information, co-operation and co-operation between the two sides, and the suspension of relations between Somalia and Nigeria.

President Abdiaziz Laftagareen previously visited the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa where he met with the Ambassador of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and discussed a number of issues.
