Somali Foreign Minister Mohamed Abdirizak Mohamud has privately met with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov in Antalya, Turkey.
The two leaders will attend this year’s Diplomatic Summit in Antalya.
The meeting focused on strengthening relations between the two countries, as confirmed by the Somali Ambassador to Turkey.
Ambassador Jamal Aideed expressed optimism that relations between the two countries would reach a new height.
Relations between Somalia and Azerbaijan emerged on 12 June 2021 after Ambassador Jama Abdullahi Aideed met with Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
