Somali Caretaker Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble and Somali regional administration leaders are expected to meet today at a hotel in Mogadishu’s Aden Adde International Airport for a special meeting.
The meeting is part of a series of separate meetings between the Heads of the Federal and the State Governments on how to start a positive stand and understanding at their forthcoming conference.
The meeting between the Federal Government and the regional State leaders is expected to open on Tuesday, and will discuss a variety of issues and top of the agenda being the political situation in the country and the disputed Somali elections.
Members of the international community are also working to end the stalemate over Somalia’s poll.
Regional leaders have been meeting in Mogadishu in recent days and a preliminary understanding has been reached on the conference so far.
