The Speaker of the Upper House of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, Senator Abdi Hashi Abdullahi, had a private meeting with the new British Ambassador to Somalia, Ms. Kate Foster.
The two discussed the overall situation in the country and find ways to unravel the issues that still bedevil the Somali poll.
The two said measures have been put in place, including appropriate mechanisms for further poll talks efforts to end the poll impasse in the country.
