Somali federal government spokesman Mohamed Ibrahim Moalimuu said the Somali prime minister was ready to continue talks with the opposition.
“His Excellency Mohamed Hussein Roble, Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, is always ready to continue his dialogue with the Somali Presidential Candidates in general and in particular, in order to reach an agreement and the country to go to the polls.” said the Mohamed Moalimuu on a post on Facebook.
This comes at a time when the two sides on Thursday disagreed on issues related to the country’s electoral process. Opposition groups called for the beleaguered PM to resign.
