The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble has yesterday held a virtual meeting with representatives of the international community in Mogadishu.

The meeting discussed issues regarding the implementation of the 17th September 2020 agreement and the minutes of the technical committee.

The conference also commended the agreement reached during a meeting between Prime Minister Roble and the Union of Candidates on February 25th.

It was only recently that a similar meeting took place between Prime Minister Roble and members of the International Community. The members suggested that the prime minister play a role in resolving the election dispute.

Controversy still lingers in Somalia’s elections and it is unknown when the elections will take place.

The Jubbaland and Puntland administrations have previously made it a condition on their participation in a conference announced by the outgoing Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo.

Prime Minister Roble recently met with opposition candidates in Mogadishu and signed an agreement.
