The Chinese government, one of the countries supporting Somalia, has welcomed the ongoing talks between the federal government, its regional governments and the Benadir region in Mogadishu.
A statement posted on the Chinese embassy’s Twitter account reads:
“Somalia is a rich country, and as a loyal brother, China will continue to support the development and peace of Somalia.
China, on the other hand, welcomes constructive dialogue between the Somali government and other electoral parties.
