The World Health Organization, WHO, has asked the Tanzanian government to document cases of the coronavirus disease and share information about the disease.

Tanzania is one of the few countries in the world that does not report cases of the disease.

The last time the government registered cases was in May last year when it reported 500 cases and 20 deaths.

Two months later, President John Pombe Magufuli announced the end of Covid-19 disease in the country.

The World Health Organization said in a statement that it had received reports of a number of deaths in the east African country.
