The Somali government’s Ministry of Health says 90 new COVID-19 cases have been found in the country in the past 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s Facebook page, the highest number of cases was found in the Benadir region with 66 cases, followed by Somaliland with 19 cases.
The number of deaths as a result of the corona virus is said to be two, with 11 people recovering from the disease.
Health officials are instructing the public to follow preventative guidelines such as oral contraceptives, maintaining the social distancing rule and special protection for the elderly to curb the spread of the Corona Virus.
