Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has appointed Mohamud Ahmed Hassan (Dalab), a former trade minister in Prime Minister Abdi Farah Shirdon’s government as chairman of the Supreme Court of the Somali Armed Forces.
The new chairman of the Court Martial, Mohamud Dalab, is a member of the Police Command having previously worked with the Court of Safety under the chairmanship of Gen. Mohamud Gelle Yusuf.
The new chairman replaces the former chairman of the Supreme Court of the Armed Forces, Gen. Liban Ali Yarrow who has been in office for some time.
