AMISOM Force Commander Lt. Gen. Diomede Ndegeya convened the monthly meeting with the commander of the forces elements in Somalia.
The meeting discussed the plan, implementation and the steps of the mission in enhancing security and processing.
AMISOM’s readiness to support the security of Somalia’s elections was also part of the meeting.
The meeting comes at a time when there is still controversy over the upcoming Somali election as fears of violence looms.
