The Ministry of internal Security of the Jubbaland State of Somalia has taken over from the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).
Director General of the Jubbaland Ministry of Security Nur Shafi Mohamed took over the vehicle from representatives of the Agency.
He said the vehicle came at a time when there were various logistical problems with the Jubbaland Police Force.
Some of the vehicles will be handed over to the police operating in the districts of the Jubbaland administration.
The vehicle is intended for operation by the Jubbaland Police Force.
The United Nations Office for Project Services is an operational arm of the United Nations dedicated to implementing projects for the United Nations System, international financial institutions.
