The President of the Jubaland state, Ahmed Mohamed Islam has today chaired a meeting of the cabinet that approved the government’s budget for the year 2025, amounting to $63,387,111.39 submitted by the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development of the Jubaland state.
The cabinet also approved the law against female genital mutilation submitted by the Ministry of Women, Family and Human Rights Affairs of the Jubbaland state.
The meeting has also discussed a raft of issues including security, the general political situation in the country, climate change, the acceleration of the GPE project of the Ministry of Education and the upcoming Jubaland district games.
