Special meeting on strengthening cooperation between the security forces and stakeholders in Kismayo

The Office of the Special Envoy of the Somalia President in charge of stabilizing and protecting civil affairs today held a critical meeting on governance and security stakeholders engagement between authorities and security stakeholders in Kismayu, Jubbaland state.

The special meeting was attended by the Commander of the Somali National Army in Jubbaland state, the Commander of the Darawish Army, officers from the Jubaland Intelligence and Security Agency (JISA).

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the security forces and stakeholders, in a bid to improve efforts to stabilize and enhance the protection of civilians in the newly liberated areas (NRAS), ensuring sustainable peace, security, and development in the region.
