The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has arrived in Nairobi, Kenya for official state visit.
He was received at Jomo Krnyatta International Airport by Kenya’s Agriculture Minister Peter Munya.
The President will hold talks with his Kenyan counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta on strengthening co-operation and traditional ties between the two countries, as well as finding solutions to the challenges of climate change, drought, security and the economy.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud attaches great importance to pursuing the interests of the Somali people through cooperation and collaboration which will lead to the development of a system of cooperation between the two governments and the mutual interests of the two neighboring peoples, while strengthening stability, development and cooperation.
During his stay in Nairobi, the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, will hold a series of meetings with members of the Somali Diaspora in Nairobi to discuss the situation in the country and listen to their suggestions on development and stabilization of the country.
