The Somali Parliament has today unanimously approved the nomination of Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre.
220 lawmakers were present during the approval and all voted in favor of PM Hamse Abdi Barre with no abstentions or objections. Hamse was sworn in immediately.
The Prime Minister of Somalia will now embark on the formation of his Cabinet.
