The Puntland State and Jubbaland state of Somalia has welcomed FGS Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble’s move to restructure Somalia’s foreign policy and diplomatic relations and cooperation with the rest of the world.
“We commend the Prime Minister’s acknowledgment and apology for the April 2018 wrongdoing against our brotherly Government of the United Arab Emirates,” The statement said.
Puntland also thanked the UAE government for its assistance to the Somali people affected by the ravagkng drought situation.
Meanwhile, Jubbaland President Ahmed Mohamed Islam who received the UAE Ambassador to Somalia Mohamed Ahmed Othman at his residence in Mogadishu yesterday afternoon has also welcomed the move by Prime Minister Roble and thanked the ambassador for his government’s relief support to cushion against the biting drought in Somalia.
