The President of Jubaland State of Somalia, Ahmed Mohamed Islam has today received at the Jubbaland State House a delegation led by the Turkish Deputy Ambassador to Somalia, Ismail Emre Kosif and other officials from the Turkish Ministry of Security and Interior, the Red Crescent and staff of the Turkish Embassy in Somalia.
The meeting discussed the humanitarian situation in Jubbaland regional state and the role of the Turkish government in delivering aid to the needy.
The Jubbaland regional state President thanked the Government of Turkey for its response to the Jubaland state Government’s call to the international community to respond to the drought currently plaguing the Jubbaland state of Somalia.
