The Minister for Education, Culture and Higher Education of the Federal Government of Somalia, Abdullahi Abukar Haji has attended the 14th Conference of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) in Cairo, Egypt, which was opened by the President of Egypt Abdifatah Alsiis.
The Somali Minister for Education, Eng. Abdullahi Arab, who briefed the ICESCO on the progress of education, culture and research in the country has said that education in Somalia is slowly recovering and that the government was committed to improving education and research.
While in Cairo, Egypt, the Somali Minister for Education will meet with his Egyptian counterpart, the Ministry of Education and various leaders from Islamic countries.
