The Jubbaland State Security and Intelligence Agency said they have headwinds after conducting a security operation in Kismayo in search of Al-Shabaab terror members following intelligence reports.
A statement from the Jubbaland security forces said that intensive terror operations were carried out in all neighborhoods of Kismayo after reports of terror cells hiding in Kismayo neighborhoods.
The Jubbaland security forces said that a dozen members of the Al-Shabaab terror group were arrested during the intensive operation in kismayo while more others are currently being hunted down.
NISA has also called on the members of the public to share information and identify the members of the Al-Shabaab terror group hiding in their midst.
“We call on all Somalis, especially the people of Kismayo, to remain vigilant and support the security operation to eradicate the remnants hiding in the city,” Said a statement from the Jubbaland Security and Intelligence Agency.
