The outgoing Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and a delegation led by him yesterday attended the inauguration ceremony of the new Government of Ethiopia and congratulated the people, the Prime Minister and the new Government of Ethiopia on the successful elections in their country.
Speaking at the Inauguration Ceremony, the President highlighted the importance of Regional Countries strengthening cooperation, collaboration, security, trade and natural disaster resolution and wished the new Government well in its mission and expectations of their people.
“The government and people of Somalia congratulate Prime Minister Abi Ahmed on his tremendous election victory and we wish the Prime Minister and his Government progress for their people and government,” President Farmajo Said.
Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo thanked the people and government of Ethiopia for the warm welcome extended to him and his delegation, reflecting the friendly relations between the two countries.
