Israeli warplanes bombed three different locations along the Gaza Strip, according to local sources early Monday morning.
The attacks targeted Rafah, Khan Yunis and Beit Lahia in southern Gaza and no casualties have been reported so far.
The Israeli Defense Forces later said it had bombed four bases used by Hamas for military training and weapons storage.
Israel has claimed that three rockets have been fired from Gaza in the past 48 hours, destroying its Iron Dome air defense system.
