Somali Prime Minister, Mohamed Hussein Roble has issued a letter terminating employment of the Director of National Intelligence and Security Agency Fahad Yasin Haji Dahir.

A statement from the Prime Minister’s Office said the move was prompted by the NISA’s report on the Ikraan Tahlil’s case and that the NISA commander had disobeyed the Prime Minister’s order by
Failing to report the Ikraan Tahlil case within 48 hours given.

The Prime Minister also appointed Bashir Mohamed Jama Bashir Goobe as the interim Director of NISA, and all agencies involved in the work of the NISA agency were instructed to assist the interim leadership in carrying out his duties.

The Somali premier has also ordered the Military Court Prosecutor to conduct a thorough investigation into the case of Ikraan Tahliil and instructed Fahad Yassin to hand over power to the Interim Commander of the Somali National Security Agency.

This as the case surrounding the Ikran Tahlil’s disappearance still shrouded in mystery and spirring worldwide condemnation.
