- The Somali Minister for Petroleum & Minerals , Abdirashid Ahmed has taken part in an oil cooperation & Energy development conference held in south Sudan’s capital Juba.
The conference, organized by Capital Energy & Power, was attended by a delegation of Ministers of Petroleum from South Sudan, Kenya, Somalia and other countries who exchanged views.
The conference focused on energy development in all African countries to overcome poverty, and Somalia is one of the countries that will issue oil exploration licenses this year.
The Somali Minister for Petroleum & Minerals has also attended a protocol meeting held by South Sudan Salva Kiir.
