All eyes firmly fixed on the Afisiyoni national poll consultative conference in MogadishuThe National Consultative Conference of the Heads of the Federal Government of Somalia, the Regional Administrations and the Benadir Region has recently officially opened at the Afisiyoni Tent in Mogadishu.
The conference which is aimed at addressing the 17th September agreements and finding a resolution on how to hold the election in which authorities are yet to reach an agreement.
The President of the Jubaland State of Somalia, Ahmed Mohamed Islam, is among those attending the National Electoral Consultative Forum.
The conference, which opened today, was attended by the Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mohamed Hussein Roble, the Presidents of the Member States of the Federal Republic of Somalia and the Benadir Regional Administration.
All eyes of the international community and the Somali people is firmly fixed on the much hyped poll conference to chart the way forward for the country’s poll.
