The election of the members of the local council has just started in Afmadow District in the Jubbaland state of Somalia.
Sources confirmed that the electorate and the candidates are present at the polling station for the election Process.
The Jubbaland Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission and the interior ministry are working together on the election process.
This is one of the formations by the Jubbaland administration which aims to serve the local community at the district level.
