The president of the Jubbaland state of Somalia is scheduled to open the third session of the Jubbaland parliament today.
The opening ceremony is currently taking place at the Dawad Center in Kismayo where the Speaker of the Jubbaland House of Representatives, the Armed Forces and civil society organizations are currently present.
The Jubbaland House of Representatives has been on vacation for the last two months.
