Somali Police Force Is Now Part Of An African Police Unit Formation


The commander of the Somali Police Force Abdi Hassan Mohamed Hajaar has said the Somali Police Force is planning to rebuild and equip the force.

The Somali Police Commander said that they will be part of the African Police Force which is currently being established in Algeria and has sent officers.

Commander Hajaar said they will increase the number, quality, transport, communications and equipment of the police force to make it more powerful in the region.

He said the Somali Police Force is part of the InterPol Police and has an office in Mogadishu.

The Somali Police Force Commander added that they will soon open an East African Police Unit office in Nairobi and hope that the Somali nation will be take up the  leadership mantle of the force.
