The Al-Shabaab terror network planted landmines and Improvised explosive devices inside the only well in Jana-Abdalle area where locals used to drink and water their livestock.
The well is said to be the only source of water in this area for the locals.
The Jubbaland government which took over full control of Jana Abdalle last Friday in a massive security operation to rid out the terror group are now said to have circled around the well for restoration and make it safe for the locals.
The local Residents are said to be assisted with temporary water supply while the well is being operationalized.
