The vice president of Galmudug state Ali Dahir ciid met with the head of the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) Francisco Madeira in Mogadishu to discuss important security issues.
According to reports, the two officials also discussed the outcome of the Dhusamareb 3 conference and the relationship between AMISOM and Galmudug on security matters.
Djibouti and Ethiopian forces operating under the AMISOM umbrella are now stationed in Galmadug to bolster security.
