A performance review for the Jubbaland Ministry of Youth and Sports has revealed tremendous work flow and output for the ministry in the last four months.
The meeting was attended by the Jubbaland Ministry of Youth and Sports Minister Osman Hussein Feyrus, who was in Nairobi during the Corona Virus Pandemic. Also in attendance were the Ministry’s Assistant Minister Abdikadir Mohamed Farah and the Director-Gerneral Abdirahman Abdi Ahmed .
The Jubbaland Ministry of Youth and sports Director-General Abdirahman Abdi Ahmed who briefed the Minister on the ministry’s work output for the last four months during which the minister was away, said the Youth and Sports ministry made significant strides in its agenda to boost the Youths growth, empowerment and development despite the adverse effects of the COVID-19 lockdown.
He said the ministry has toured Dhobley and boosted the restructuring of Youth institutions in Dhobley, doubling the capacity of Youths as well as giving out motivational talk to a large number of youths in the area.
“The ministry of Youth and sports toured the area of Dhobley and took the ministry’s agenda right into the Youths. We have streamlined the various Dhobley institutions and gave out inspirational talks to a host of youths on the need for the Youths to stand up for their rightful place in the society”, Said Abdirahman Ahmed
The Director-Gerneral said the one stop youth centre which was launched and in operation is a great achievement for the ministry . The centre will be a critical centre point for youth development and empowerment in the Jubbaland regional state of Somalia.
