Jubbaland Regional State President Ahmed Mohammed Islam has appointed a technical delegation team representing the Jubbaland State regional government in the hot topic of the modalities to conduct the upcoming Somali Polls.
Ahmed Mohammed Islam put forward;
1. Hirsi Jamac Ganni- Jubbaland Presidencial Affairs
2. Hamza Abdi Barre- Chairman of the Jubbaland’s Independent, electoral and Boundaries Commission.
The Jubbaland President named the above to voice the interest of the Jubbaland State.
The appointment comes shortly after the recent Dhusamareeb consultative meeting which resolved that each regional state government to bring forward a delegation to represent their interests on the way forward in conducting the much-hyped Somali elections which has since thrown the nation into absolute limbo and uncertainty.
