Prime Minister Roble praises security agencies for speeding up traffic facilitation plan in the capital Mogadishu


Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble has inspected the Tribune Road, a key thoroughfare in the capital to ensure compliance with the Security and Public Order.

The Prime Minister pointed out that the reopening of this road which has been closed for almost 10 years shows the solidarity and cooperation of the security agencies and the people of the capital who are determined to address the security situation and unite for the stabilization of the capital.

“The people of the capital have shared with us their commitment to work with the security forces who are always on the lookout for the lives and property of Somali citizens. “Everyone has a national duty to thwart the plots of our people against terrorists,” Said Premier Roble

The Prime Minister commended the Somali Police Force Command and the Benadir Regional Administration for implementing the plan to ease traffic congestion in the capital and urged them to enhance security co-operation with the public.

His Excellency Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble thanked the business community and other sectors of the society for their resilience in the face of road closures noting that it was part of efforts to thwart terrorist plots against the public.
